Genevieve Gale started as a volunteer for CVAQ in 2015. Soon after she became CVAQ’s Action Day Intern, the organization’s Policy Associate from 2016-2018, and in 2019 became Director of CVAQ. Her work focuses on strengthening local and state air policy for the benefit of public health in the San Joaquin Valley. Prior to working at CVAQ, she worked for Conservation Strategy Group, an environmental policy consulting firm in Sacramento, CA, where she focused on climate, oil and gas, and water policy at the state level. Genevieve received her Bachelors in Sociology from Vanderbilt University.
